Where do you live?
London. I have always lived here except during the war when I was evacuated for six years.

Can you tell us a bit more about yourself?
I was in fashion. I am retired now. I try to get around and do my own thing – I don’t sit in a corner and feel sorry for myself. I do sometimes have a down day, but I think that’s quite normal.

I am Jewish. My family have all gone – thankfully I have got a brother – my cousins have all passed away, aunts, uncles, there is nobody left except my brother. My father’s family as well – everybody’s gone so it can be a bit down at times.

Why have you taken the vaccine today?
Because I want to avoid getting the COVID-19 virus and hopefully it will help.

Do you think other people should take it?
Yes, I do. If you don’t and you are a carrier, you can easily give it to other people. To me, it’s a selfish attitude if you don’t have it done. It doesn’t hurt.
